Terms of Service

1. The service

Liftful lets you create training plans, log workouts and activities, track your progress and connect AI assistants that can read and, if you allow it, change your data. The service is currently free. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Not medical advice

Liftful is a tool for organizing your training. Plans, exercises, suggested weights, estimates such as one-rep max and text generated by AI assistants are general guidance, not medical, physiotherapy or professional advice. Before starting or changing a program, especially if you have injuries, medical conditions or doubts about your health, consult a doctor or qualified professional. You train at your own risk: stop if you feel pain and use proper technique and loads.

3. Account

You need an account to use the service. You must be at least 14 years old (or the minimum age in your country), provide accurate information and an email address you control. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what happens with your account, including what the AI assistants you connect do. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password, sign out other devices and contact us.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service in violation of the law or the rights of others;
• access other people's accounts or data, or try to bypass security measures;
• overload the service, scrape it at scale or use automation beyond the intended limits (AI assistants connected via OAuth are allowed);
• decompile or copy the service, except as permitted by law;
• upload unlawful or offensive content, or personal data of others without the right to do so.

5. Your content

The data you enter (profile, plans, workouts, notes, feedback) remains yours. You only grant us permission to store, process and show it to you and to the assistants you authorize, as needed to provide the service. You can edit or delete it at any time; deleting your account erases it as described in the privacy policy.

6. AI assistants and third-party services

The AI assistants you connect are third-party services with their own terms and privacy policies. They act on your behalf within the permissions you approve: you decide what they can do and can revoke them at any time. Changes they make to plans stay in the history and can be restored. We are not responsible for the operation, content or errors of third-party services, including text generated by assistants. The same applies to Sign in with Apple or Google and to push notifications, which depend on their providers.

7. Intellectual property

The service, its code, the Liftful brand, the design and the exercise catalog belong to the provider or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service under these terms.

8. Availability

We do our best to keep the service running and your data safe, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. There may be interruptions for maintenance, updates or technical issues. The iOS app checks for a newer version when it starts: when a version is no longer compatible with the service, you need to update it to keep using it. The service is provided "as is", to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or profits, or for injuries or health problems resulting from training or from following the service's guidance. This does not affect liability for intent or gross negligence, or the rights the law grants to consumers, which these terms do not limit in any way.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the app or the dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, notifying you where possible. If we decide to discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice.

11. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms, for example when features or the law change. If there are significant changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you don't accept them you can delete your account; by continuing to use the service you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
